Nahyon Lee joined the history faculty at Nobles after teaching at Sage Hill School in Southern California. She is a graduate of Bowdoin College, where she concentrated on government and environmental studies, and received the Watson Fellowship to study in Spain, Venezuela, Argentina and Chile. Lee did her graduate work in history and education at Brown University. At Nobles, Lee is interim co-director of diversity, equity and inclusion, and has chaired the history department and served as Class I Dean. She is a faculty advisor to Asian 2 Asian (A2A), the affinity group for Asian-identifying students, and Asian Culture Club (ACC). She coached JV girls tennis from 2006-2018 and now coaches girls varsity tennis. Lee has also led EXCEL trips to Spain, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, India, Central Europe and Greece.
